Installation
At the top of the waterfall,
prepare the area for installation
by excavating a 9” by 34” hole
6” deep. Compact the soil in the
bottom of the hole to prevent
unwanted settling.
The FilterWeir includes two
3” inlets (on either side of the
housing). Select the unused
side and apply glue to the ABS
plug (provided).
Before glue dries firmly press
plug into unused FilterWeir
inlet.
Connect the other inlet to your
pump or Skimmerfilter using or
flexible tubing.
Place FilterWeir into hole and
level front to back and side
to side. Tip the unit forward
(toward the pond) slightly
(about 1/4”) to compensate for
settling.
Pull the pond liner up and over
the front of the FilterWeir. Wipe
the liner so that it is free of dirt
and smooth wrinkles.
