HDMI over COAX Cable (BNC) and Connector Information
SAVANT® recommends using the approved RGBHV Mini 23 Solid AWG Cable (Belden) for
interconnecting and wiring the HDMI
™
over COAX Extender.
In addition, SAVANT® recommends using the specified BNC COAX terminations, and the
stripping and crimping tools as specified by the cable provider. Refer to the following HDMI
over COAX cable recommendations:
•
Cable: Belden 7789A for 1080p content distribution (maximum length 300 ft.)
•
BNC connector: Amphenol 31-71033 (Type 2 - 75

•
Crimper: Amphenol CTL-2
•
Stripper: Paladin Tools1258
