HOW TO ATTACH ACCESSORIES
DIFFUSERS
- The kit includes two sets of four snap-on diffusers: clear (5600K) and warm (3200K). To attach, first select the piece that matches the shape of the bottom of the ringlight. Line the diffuser
up with the light and simply press the diffuser up against the light until it snaps on. The remaining three pieces will snap on the light with each side going under or over the adjacent diffuser.
6” REVERSIBLE MIRROR
- To ensure a flawless look with every shot, the kit comes with a 6” mirror with a shoe mount to easily attach to the ringlight. Simply slide the mirror’s shoe into either the top
or bottom shoe mount and twist the wheel clockwise to tighten.
BALLHEAD WITH REMOVABLE MALE SHOE
- This accessory is intended for attaching other accessories to the ringlight. To attach an accessory to the ballhead just screw on a compatible accessory
(like a DSLR, the cell phone holder or adjustable shoe mount) clockwise to tighten, and counterclockwise to remove. With an accessory securely fastened to the ballhead you can slide the male shoe
into the shoe mount on the ringlight. Adjust ballhead by turning the front wheel counterclockwise, adjust the ballhead to the desired position and turn the wheel clockwise to secure ballhead in place.
CELL PHONE HOLDER
- There are two areas where this accessory can be attached to a thread: on the back and on the side. To use, screw the flexible arm or ballhead into either one of those
designated areas, and attach to the shoe mount. You can now extend the width of the cell phone holder by pulling the sides outwards and sliding in your phone device.
ADJUSTABLE SHOE MOUNT
- To attach this accessory to the ballhead, simply rotate the thread of the ballhead into the bottom of the adjustable shoe mount to secure. To attach an accessory to the
shoe mount, simply rotate the knob counterclockwise to widen the shoe mount. You can then place the shoe of the desired accessory into the mount, and rotate the knob clockwise to secure in place.
DSLR BRACKET
- This bracket is ideal for supporting a DSLR (up to 1.7 lbs) and elevating it above the mirror that is mounted to the bottom of the inner ringlight opening. The bottom shoe of the
bracket should be fastened into the bottom shoe mount on the ringlight. The two shoe mounts on the bracket can then hold different accessories like a DSLR or mirror.
15” FLEXIBLE ARM
- This accessory allows flexibility on where your cell phone is positioned in your set up. The bottom shoe can be mounted into either of the shoe mounts on the ringlight, and the
remaining threads can be screwed into the cell phone holder. To position the arm into the desired place, just bend the flexible arm.
5’X7’ REVERSIBLE BACKDROP
- Find a flat and even surface to adhere the wall hooks onto. Peel off adhesive tape from the back of the hooks and place evenly on the wall.
Space hooks 5’ apart. Hang each grommet on the backdrop top corners from each of the hooks. Steam backdrop to remove wrinkles if necessary.
The Savage Ringlight Beauty Kit comes with a number of accessories to customize your
use of the light. By utilizing the shoe mounts on the top and bottom of the inner ringlight,
multiple accessories can be used simultaneously.
