CLEAT ATTACHMENT TO THE WALL
1. Locate a stud in the wall and mark a vertical line on the wall in the center of the stud near the desired height of your SHELF.
2. With your pencil, mark a horizontal line on the back closet wall using the same SHELF height from step 1 on page 4.
3.Hold the top long edge of the CLEAT on the horizontal line and drill a 1/4" hole through the center of the CLEAT no less than
1" from the short edge of the CLEAT. While drilling, touch the tip of the drill bit onto the wall to mark the hole.
BE SURE THE
CLEAT IS LEVEL.
4. Drill a second 1/4" hole in the center of the CLEAT 1" away from the other short edge of it. While drilling, touch the tip of the drill
bit onto the wall to mark the hole for the WALL ANCHOR.
