Precaution
1. Care in Installation
Never use the instrument in the environments that contain corrosive gas
and in a place subject to much dust.
Otherwise, the humidity sensor
(human hair) may deteriorate.
Do not use it near the air conditioner or in direct sunlight.
It may result in
malfunctions.
Refrain from using it at a door, window or wall exposed to the air.
Mount it on the vertical wall free from vibration.
Inside temperature of a car extremely increase in summer. Do not leave the
instrument in the car. If so, it may result in malfunctions.
2. Care in Use
15 to 30 minutes are required until the instrument indicates correct values
of ambient temperature and humidity after it has been taken out of the box.
Never disassemble the instrument. Disassembling will be the cause of
trouble.
Be careful not to drop or hit the instrument as it is a precision instrument.
Doing so may not function properly.
The instrument has ventilation holes. Do not cover or brock up the holes for
accurate measurement.
In the time of dry as in winter, it may show the humidity less than 20%, but
this is not a trouble.
When condensed, it may show the humidity more than 100%, but this is not
a trouble.
Do not get wet the instrument as it is not a waterproof construction. Never
use it at a place subject to water splash. If it is wholly covered with vinyl
etc. for waterproof purpose, measured value will not correct.
Use the instrument within the measuring range (0 to 50°C).
Make sure the polarities (+) (
-
) are correct. Otherwise, the instrument may
become defective.
