Description
Use
DUT
Module place
Place to M3-R3 or M3-TR3 module.
L1
Power LED
Light on when board is powered.
L2
STAT LED
Status signal LED. “1” when device is OK and working
normally. Various toggle sequences for other state
indications. See separate section of manual.
SW1
SERVICE switch
Input for service access. Internally pulled high.
Pull low / drive low to set UART1 (RD1,TD1) into known
state. Known state parameters are 38400,N,8,1.
S1-A
ENA_MOD (On /
Off)
Enables modem when on.
>1,2V= Modem power is ON,
<0.2V= Modem power is OFF
S1-B
VCC_IO (On / Off) EXTERNAL Voltage= 1.8V….3.3V IO POWER.
“1” LEVEL FOR CMOS IO
INTERNAL Voltage= not connected
2.5
STAT LED
STAT LED indicates the status of the device with the following behavior:
In the evaluation board LED state “1” means that the LED light is off and state “0” means
that the LED light is on.
Blink cycle
Mode
“1” - statically
module is operational “searching for a
new frame”
“0” for the endurance of the
received frame.
“0” when module is receiving data from
air interface. “1” when receiving.
In practical cases will toggle at the
frequency of the data packets on the air
interface.
“0” statically
Modem is in sleep1 or sleep2 mode
LED is toggled in 1s interval
Modem is in programming mode
LED is toggled in 250ms
interval
Modem has detected a fault, fault codes
can be read in the programming mode.
*LED is toggled in 500ms
interval.
*SL Command Mode. More details in
M3-TR3 integration guide
Table. Modes of STAT LED.
* Only in M3-TR3 module
