Basic Signal Troubleshooting Guide

NO SIGNAL
A.
Check the power and connection between the IRD and Television set.
-Set the connection properly.
B.
Check the IRD if working.
-If the IRD is not working or defective, replace the IRD.
C.
Check the IRD settings
-Re-program the IRD settings. Make sure that LNB frequency is matched to IRD set-up.
D.
Set the IRD to manual scanning and check the display of signal strength and signal quality.
-If no signal quality appears in the manual scanning mode, re-focus the satellite dish.
E.
Check the weather condition.(Heavy rains and heavy cloudy sky can also interrupt satellite
signal transmission.)
-Check with our Head-end or check the area of receiver.

SIGNAL PIXELIZATION
A.
Check the signal strength and signal quality if in maximum level.
-If the signal is in low level, re-focus the satellite dish to get the maximum signal.
B.
Check the weather condition. Heavy rains and heavy cloudy sky can also interrupt satellite
signal transmission.
-Check with our head-end or check the area of receiver.
3.
WITH SIGNAL BUT ONLY 1 CHANNEL SHOWING
A.
Deactivated Account or IRD.
-Check the account of the subscriber.
-Request to reactivate if the account has been updated.
-If newly installed, request for activation if the payment has been made.
B.
Check the smart card.
-Smart card should always be inserted in the IRD.
C.
Check chip set pairing.
-IRD chip no. is always paired with the smartcard number.
