When the batter level falls on a critical level, the TRV screen displays
symbol. We advise you change the batteries with new ones. Batteries
needed are alkaline LR06 1.5V.
To turn off the thermostat, hold the button "-". for so long, until the screen shows
"OFF". To turn it on, hold button "+" for so long, until you've reached the desired
temperature.

You can also turn off / on the thermostat by pressing
the temperature button (middle lower button).
To prevent unwanted key presses and changes on the set temperature or
programs, you can lock the keys (child lock). You can do that by holding buttons
AUTO/MANU and PROG for a few seconds. The display shows BLOCK. You can
turn off the function the same way you turned in on.
If you're using heating schedule and you want to currently change the set
temperature, you can do that by simply setting the temperature with + and -
buttons. The temperature stays until next program change at your set time.
If there's a problem with the temperature sensors, the device will show:

Thermostat will automatically close the valve and turn off the heating if it
recognizes a sudden temperature fall of 6°C or more in 4 minutes. The
screen shows "OPEN". Function turns off automatically if the temperature
rises for at least 3°C or after 48 minutes. You can turn it off manually by
pressing any button on the TRV.
If the radiator is not use or the valve is not opened for a longer time there is a
chance of limescale clogging. The thermostat then automatically opens and
closes the valve every 14 days for around 30 seconds.

"ADAP" is shown on screen.
While the thermostat is turned OFF, a symbol of a snowflake is shown in the right
lower corner. This means the automatic antifreeze protection is turned on. W

the temperature of the room falls bellow 5°C, the TRV opens the valve until the
temperature rises to at least 8°C
