6.0 AirHawk Equipment
Your AirHawk unit will come equipped with the controls discussed in the following sections. Contact
your Sentry Air Systems rep with any questions regarding their usage.
6.1
Sentry AirHawk Control Console
1.
Master Power Switch:
power it on by pushing it on in the UP position. The switch will illuminate.
Turning off the Master Power Switch will cut power to the entire unit.

System Fuse

Runtime Reset:
(Filter Runtime) Will reset the Filter Time (Right Display, Top Row) to 0.

Light Switch/Dimmer:
Push the UP arrow to turn on and incrementally brighten the hood light and
push the DOWN arrow to incrementally dim and turn off the hood light.

Illuminated Filter Alarm:
When AutoSentry mode is enabled, this light will illuminate when the
airflow cannot meet the demand of the airflow setting.

Audible Filter Alarm:
When AutoSentry mode is enabled, an audible alarm will sound when
airflow cannot meet the demand of the airflow setting.

Left LCD display:
This display reads Airflow, Temperature, Relative Humidity (RH), and fan
speed data.

Right LCD display:
This display reads filter usage time, pressure and timer data.

Auto Sentry:
When enabled the fan will automatically maintain a given airflow which is selected
through the “FLOW” buttons. To increase airflow push the UP arrow on the flow and the fan speed
will gradually increase to maintain it. Pushing the DOWN arrow on the flow and the fan will
gradually decrease to maintain it. Any interruption in airflow such as opening the front window or
blocking the hood access area will cause an automatic change in fan speed until the set airflow in
feet per minute (FPM) is met. (NOTE: Due to imperfections in flow the FPM settings is ± 10% of
FPM in AutoSentry settings).
10.
Units:
Pressing this button will toggle between Imperial and metric units.
11.
Flow:
With AutoSentry disabled the flow arrows will control the fan speed. Push the UP arrow to
turn the fan on and incrementally increase the fan speed up to 100%. Push the DOWN arrow to
