Jigging and Assembly Procedure
It is recommend that a jig is used to correctly position the antenna at 90 degrees with
respect to the PCB and to ensure correct alignment of the antenna pins with the pads on the
PCB. An example of a jig is shown below fabricated from a plastic such as Acetal.
1. The PCB is inserted in to the jig.
2. The antenna is inserted in to the pocket in the jig so it correctly lines up with the pads
on the PCB and is held in place with respect to the edge of the PCB.
