IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
•
Be sure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the voltage of the electric system in your
home.
•
Never use the appliance if the cable (or the plug) is damaged.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
•
Keep the appliance and the cable away from any wet surfaces and far from heat.
•
Keep away from the reach of children.
•
Don’t use the appliance when your hands are wet.
•
Don’t place the appliance directly on a table.
•
Check your deep fryer regularly, in case of burning oil, close the lid and disconnect the power cord.
•
Always put oil at the minimum level before turning on the deep fryer.
•
Never immerse the housing of the appliance in water or other liquid.
BEFORE INITIAL USE
•
Before using the deep fryer for the first time, rinse the bowl thoroughly.
•
We advise you to use vegetable oil. Never mix together different kinds of oil.
•
The level of oil must be maintained between minimum and maximum level.
•
Place the thermostat on the minimum position before connect the power cord to the outlet.
HOW TO USE
1.
Filling the frying basket
Place what you have to fry in the basket, but don’t fill it completely. If the basket is filled
completely, what is on top of it will not be fried properly. Humid ingredients must be dried before
you fry them.
2.
Assembly of the handle
Place the metal handle in the metal basket as shown on the
picture. Hold the handle firmly in one hand and insert it in
the small support on the basket. Make sure the handle is well
attached before filling the basket.
3.
Frying
Place slowly the basket in the pot and remove the handle from the basket. Close the cover. After 3
times of use the deep fryer, add some oil to reach the maximum level. When the ingredients are
cooked, fix the handle on the basket and remove it from the bowl.
