IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Carefully read the instructions and warnings in this manual and keep them for future reference.
They include important instructions regarding operations and safety for installing, using and
maintaining the appliance.
•
After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is intact with no signs of damage caused by
transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the supplier.
•
If there is crack on the heating coil, immediately cut off the power supply and stop usage.
•
The appliance is not intended for use by persons under 16 years of age or infirm persons.
•
Please ensure extra supervision is when the appliance is used near children.
•
Do not operate the appliance outdoors without adequate precautions.
•
The appliance has also been designed for heating and warming food and must only be
used when cooking pots or pans are placed on it.
•
Do not immerse in water or other liquid.
•
The power plug must be removed from power socket before cleaning, servicing,
maintenance or moving the appliance.
•
Improper installation may result in the risk of file, electric shock and or injury to persons.
•
The appliance has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair,
disassemble or modify the appliance in any way.
•
Do not touch the surface of the coil when the appliance is operation or cooling down after
use.
•
Do not allow the cord to touch the hot plate during operation or cooling down after use.
•
Do not leave the appliance unattended when the appliance is operating or cooling down
after use.
•
Do not leave the appliance without supervision when oil and fat are heated.
•
The appliance must be cooled down completely after use before stored away.
•
Please allow sufficient time for the appliance to cool down.
•
The appliance should be kept well clear of any inflammable materials (e.g. such as
curtains).
•
The hot plate should not be placed directly on a surface that could be damaged by heat. A
heat-insulating base may be needed.
•
The power cord should not be allowed to hang over the edge of the work surface during
operation.
•
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its approved
service agent, or an approved similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
•
The appliance is not designed to be dismantled by an unqualified technician.
•
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
