Choosing the Language
Specify in which language menus and messages are to be displayed on the LCD
monitor.
1. Tap the Mode / Scene mode icon to set the camera to
any scene mode; or press the
button.
The default mode is [
].
2. Press the
MENU
button.
3. Drag the slide bar down to the end of the menu.
Tap [
] to enter [Setup] menu.
4. Tap language icon to enter
[Language].
5. Touch the panel and slide to left or right to select the
language.
6. Tap
the language
icon you want to display on the touch panel.
The setting will be stored.
7. To exit from the [Setup] menu, tap [
].
Formatting the Memory Card or Internal Memory
This utility formats the memory card (or internal memory) and erases all stored images
and data.
1. Tap the Mode / Scene mode icon to set the camera
to any scene mode; or press the
button.
The default mode is [
].
2. Press the
MENU
button.
3. Drag the slide bar down to the end of the menu.
Tap [
] to enter [Setup] menu.
4. Tap [
] to enter
[Format].
5. Tap [Execute].
To cancel formatting, tap [Cancel] .
6. To exit from the [Setup] menu,
tap [
].
