3. ADJUSTMENT
3-1. ADJUSTMENT CONDITION
1. Use the 5,100K viewer for the subject. (color temperature
: 5500 ± 100 k (or 4900 - 6000 k), luminosity : 1000 ± 100
cd/m²)
2. Set the trigger signal of oscilloscope to VIDEO OUT, and
apply H sync unless specified.
3. Adjustment is performed by the following function set-
tings.
4. In adjustments without direction to display charts, shield
light with a lens cap to provide dark condition.
5. Connect the video output to a video monitor with an input
impedance of 75 ohms.
6. This lens should be a VCL-CS8LY or an equality.
7. Power supply input is CN401.

3-2. TABLE FOR SERVICING TOOLS
1. Use an IR-303 as the radiation temperature gauge, and
set the radiating rate to 95E.
2. Adjust the temperature of the heated air from the spot
heater to 150 ± 10°C using an iron tip temperature
gauge.
3. Use the latest versions of the adjustment software and
the WDDL5CS software.
3-3. PREPARATION
1. Install the adjustment software and WDDL5CS software
in a computer running the Windows operating system.
2. If the CA-1 circuit board has been replaced, copy the
S1.txt and S2.txt files from the accessory CD-ROM to the
C:\CCTV\Data folder of the personal computer.
Record the input number contained in the INPUT NO.txt
file on the CD-ROM.

Record the CMOS (CCD) number which is written on the
CMOS protective sheet on the CA-1 circuit board.
3. Use the adjustment jig (VHJ-0127) to connect the camera
to be adjusted to the serial port (COM1) of the computer
with RS-232C cross cable (Inter link cross cable, VHJ-
0149), and then turn on the power for the computer .
4. Double-click the adjustment software which has been
installed into the computer.The main window will be
displayed.
5. Click “Co” in the main window menu (or click “Set” and
then click “Config”). The setting window will be displayed.
6. In the setting window, change the “COM” setting to
“COM1”. For a notebook computer, select “NOTE PC”.
Click “OK”. The main window will be displayed.
7. Click “CS” in the main window menu (or click
“Adjustment” and then click “L5CS”). The selection
window will be displayed.
8. In the selection window (Main dialog), click “SET UP”.
The setup window will be displayed.
9. In the setup window, change all other values to the
standard settings (setup window illustration).
10. Click “OK” to accept the settings. The selection window
will be displayed.
11. In the selection window, click “ADJUSTMENT”. The
adjustment window will be displayed.
12. In the adjustment window, click “START”. If “Version is
different” appears, return to the setup window and enter
the version.
