RECORDING USING AN EXTERNAL TIMER
INPUT
Recording can be controlled by an external start/stop
signal input at the EXT TIMER IN terminal.
Example 3:
To record using the signal input at the
EXT TIMER IN terminal, in L24-hour
mode.

Follow the Before starting steps, under “NORMAL
RECORDING”.
NOTE:

External timer input recording can only be set on the
9th line (EXT) of the (TIMER SET) menu.

Press the MENU button to display the (MAIN MENU
1) menu.

Press the SHIFT

button to select the “7. TIMER
SET” line, then press the MENU button.

The (TIMER SET) menu appears.

Press the SHIFT

(recording speed) position of the “EXT” line starts
flashing.

recording speed mode (ex: L24), then press the

the digital display and recording will take place.

can also be programmed.
