HOW TO CHECK THE UNIT

Motor CARRIAGE (CM49) drive
Belt (CM44) drive
Turn on the power
Inactive
Rotate the GEAR (CM31,30,28,26) ,and
SHAFT (CM24), and GEAR (CM27)
Not rotate
Rotates the gears of HOLDER (CM04) "R" to
drive the CARRIAGEs
Inactive
Discriminates CARRIAGE switch
*CM07 switch defective
(Switch is OFF, while its knob is pushed ON)
*CARRIAGE defective (CM13, CM14)
*PW BOARD C (CM07) incompletely soldered
*Control PW BOARD attached in the final process
defective
*CLAMPER (CM32) not closely mounted
Notes:
Discriminates the carriage No. of the Carriage switches
*Push the front side switch

CARRIAGE No.1
*Push the rear side switch

*Push the both side switches

*PW BOARD C (CM07) incompletely soldered
*Motor (CM49) defective

1. Connect the AC power cord.
2. Press the Power switch to turn on the power.
3. The unit will be set into Initial settings as shown below. If the unit is mulfunction, the unit will stop in the step.
*HOLDER(CM04) "L" is out of sync with "R"
*HOLDER(CM04)"R" insufficiently engaged with the
gear(CM27)
*Foreign matters get caught in the teeth of the HOLDER
(CM04)"R" and "L"
*Teeth of the HOLDER(CM04)"R" and "L" broken
Stops CARRIAGE at the proper position
Notes:
When a CARRIAGE stops displaced, though no error is
detected in the initial operation, the displacement leads
DRAWER2 to open. Because, when opening the
CARRIAGE at the PLAY position, the displaced
CARRIAGE hits the CARRIAGE which rises from the
PLAY position, which prevents the latter CARRIAGE from
rising further and slides it down
