Storing a Caller ID entry in the directory memory
Names and numbers shown in the Caller ID list can be stored in the directory memory.

Select the phone number to be stored from the Caller ID list
by pressing
or

to select the memory location.
Or press the dial button (

) and select the
number (01–20).

SELECT/SCAN
.
A beep tone will sound. The number is stored in memory,
and the display returns to the Caller ID list.

If a number has
already been stored in
the selected memory
location of the directory,
a confirmation screen is displayed. Press
to select
Yes
.
Press
SELECT/SCAN
to overwrite. The display returns to the Caller ID list.

You cannot store a Caller ID entry that includes no phone number.
•
If no key is pressed within 20 seconds, an error tone sounds and the telephone returns to
the standby mode.
•
If you receive an incoming call or page, the operation is cancelled and the telephone is set
to receive the incoming call or page.
