Before starting measurement, check the  appearance

How to Check Bult-in Battery (BATTERY CHECK)

Prior to M

Ω 

(insulation resistance) measurement, be sure to check the

built-in battery. A consumed battery will cause not only measurement
errors but danger due to erroneous measurement.
For checking methods, refer to 5.1 Start-up Check.

 

Do not check the built-in battery for more than 5 seconds.
