S1000 VOC FOR SMOKING ROOM
INSTALLER INSTRUCTIONS
These instructions are for a smoking room of a maximum of 9600 cu ft
Box contains:
•
Une (1) S1000 VOC unit that includes:
o
One (1) "J" lamp UVC/UVV with yellow tips (part LMPHGXJ160-8
6" exposed
)
o
One (1) "J" lamp all UV-V with blue tips (part LMPHXJ160)
o
Two (2) Multi voltage ballasts (part BST120/277SHS) and two lamp-holding brackets.
o
One (1) Relay (part MSCELC16) connected to the all UVV lamp
o
Twenty (20) feet of wire that can be inserted in BX shield.
o
One (1) VOC controller (part MSC1A) factory’s pre-set
•
Four (4) replacement pre-filters (part MSCFTR2)
LAMP INSTALLATION (this step can be done later)
1.
Open the front door on the S1000 unit.
2.
Open the door access to the aluminum box by removing the two
wing nuts. (see picture aside)
3.
Remove the BLUE END CAP (LMPHXJ160) lamp from packaging:
Use the gloves provided
.
4.
Identify the ballast showing LMPHXJ160, follow the wire and insert
it in the appropriate clamp, using the foam tape supplied.
5.
Holding the cap with one hand, plug the white connector tightly
on the lamp
6.
Repeat the operation with the second lamp (LMPHGXJ160-8).
7.
Put the cover back on with the 2 wingnuts.
