7. MAINTENANCE
DiSinfeCTiOn
It is recommended to disinfect the system periodically - at least once a month. This should be done in
the following way: fill the bathtub to about 3 cm of water above the jets level (1), add proper disinfection
agent to the water (available in sanitary stores) (2), activate the system for about 5 min. (3), empty the
bathtub (4), refill with clean water (5), activate the hydromassage system for another 2 min (6), empty
the bathtub (7).
BATHTUB CLEANING
The bathtub has to be cleaned after each use, with water, soft cloth and mild detergents, to avoid
scratching of the bathtub surface.
Powdered cleaning agents may scratch the bathtub surface!
Do not use agents containing alcohol, ammonia, ant acid or formaldehyde, as they may permanently
damage the bathtub surface.
To remove calcic residue, simply use a soft cloth soaked in warm vinegar. Flush the bathtub with warm
water.
Avoid leaving lighted cigarettes, or any other heat emitting items on, or nearby the bathtub.
REPAIRING BATHTUB SURFACE DAMAGES
1. Minor scratches
Use a soft cloth with a polishing agent
2. Deeper scratches
Use a 600 to 1200 grain sandpaper. Next apply polishing agent to return glossy finish.
3. Major defects
Only authorized personnel, with the use of a special repair kit containing resin and a catalytic
agent,may deal with major damages
