Functions and possible application

The heart rate is transmitted from the chest strap
to the smartphone using the latest
Bluetooth

technology. This means that the Sanitas SPM 230
chest strap is compatible with
Bluetooth
®
smart
devices and
Bluetooth
®
smart-ready devices.
The chest strap included in the delivery is a
„combo chest strap“, which means that it emits
two signals. A
Bluetooth
®
signal and a further si-
gnal at a transmission frequency of 5.3 kHz. Due
to the additional 5.3 kHz analogue signal, your
chest strap is also compatible with most trai-
ning devices in the fitness studio and heart rate
monitors with analogue signal transmission (e.g.
SPM 25).
Electromagnetic interference
• Electromagnetic interference may occur. Strong
magnetic fields (e.g. transformers) must always
be avoided as they may give rise to deviations
in transmission. Failure to observe these notes
may give rise to faults or damage to the trans-
mitter unit.
