Replacing the Carbon Filter

Fitting of a carbon filter (not supplied) is only necessary if using the cooker hood is used with air
recirculation.
The carbon filter collects the odours from cooking and needs replacing when the filter warning light
on the control panel lights up. Typically, this will be after 100 hours of operation.

•  This filter has to be replaced, do not try to clean it

•  To reset the warning light, press the warning light symbol for at least 5 seconds.

•  Regular maintenance will help ensure that the unit operates efficiently.

•  The carbon filter is not supplied.

•  Carbon filters for this cooker hood are available as an optional extra, and be obtained

through partmaster.co.uk

•  Before using the cooker hood in recirculation mode, ensure that the carbon filter

is in place.

Replacing the Halogen Bulbs

3.  Remove the bulb by pulling it backwards out of the fixing.

4.  Replace with a suitable 20W bulb, taking care not to touch

the bulb with your fingers, hold it with a cloth or tissue
paper.

5.  Push back on the metal ring and reconnect the

power supply.

Cleaning

•  All external surfaces and controls can be cleaned using a little washing-up liquid applied with a

damp soft sponge or cloth. Wipe dry using a soft cloth.

•  Only use cleaners suitable for glass on the glass surfaces.

•  Wipe dry using a soft cloth.

Do not use:

Cleaning agents containing soda, acids, chlorides or solvents.
Abrasive cleaning agents, e.g. powder cleaners or cream cleaners and abrasive sponges,
as well as pot scourers or sponges which have been used previously with abrasive cleaning
agents as these will damage the surface material.
