Connections
Mains Power
• This unit operates with a AC ~6.5V mains adapter
(included).
• Connecting the unit to any other power source may
cause damage to the unit. Unwind the mains adapter
to its full length. Connect the mains adapter to the AC
socket on the rear of the unit and a mains socket. Make
sure the mains adapter is fully inserted into the mains
socket. The unit is now connected and ready to use.
• To switch the unit off completely, withdraw the mains
adapter from the mains socket.
Backup Battery Power
1. When the backup clock battery power drops below a
certain level, the LOW BATT Indicator will fl ash on the
LED. When you see this indicator, you should change
the battery as soon as it is convenient for you to do so.
To completely disconnect the unit from the mains power, the
mains adapter must be disconnected from the mains socket.
Please ensure that the mains socket is readily accessible.
