Model 40 Digital Message Player Manual
The Swiss Army Knife of Digital Message Players… It does it all!
The Model 40 Digital Message Player system will play built-in generic music when you remove the USB Thumb Drive from
the player.
Inserting the USB Thumb Drive will automatically start playing any mp3 audio files in the root of the USB Thumb Drive within
10 seconds.
When you create your own mp3 files use 64kbps or greater Stereo mp3 files for the best audio quality. The Model 40
Digital Message Player will
not
play wav or other types of audio files.
The Model 40 Digital Message Player comes with
two
USB Thumb Drives:
• #1 has the default generic On Hold audio.
• #2 has other generic On Hold files you might like,
and
• Sample files that let you create your own music and voice files to play in
alphanumeric order
• A couple of Warble Tones to put telephone ringing over a PA system or 8 Ohm Speaker (you’ll need a Ring
Relay to do that)
• Audacity for Windows – a free open source audio editor available for Windows, MAC and Linux.
The Model 40 Digital Message Player makes a great Digital Message On Hold Player that lets you easily change the On
Hold announcement whenever you need to with the USB Thumb Drive.
The Model 40 Digital Message Player works as a Digital Message Player for an announcement or audio over a PA
system or 8 Ohm Speaker. It’s sometimes called a Message Repeater or Shelving Message Repeater.
