The interrupters will trip, and the blades
will open, clearing the circuit . After each trip
operation, the interrupter charging motors
will close and charge the interrupter contacts,
readying the interrupters for a close opera tion .
It is recommended that the operator (or con-
trol circuit setting) wait five minutes between
OPEN and CLOSE operations .
NOTICE
DO NOT
disconnect control power while
the Mark VI Circuit-Switcher interrupter
charging motors are operating . The inter-
rupter charging motors will reset to the
beginning of the charging cycle when con-
trol power is restored which may cause the
operation of the blade and interrupter to
become unsynchronized . If control power
is lost during switch operation, contact your
local S&C Sales Office .
