5 Troubleshooting
If TV Jukebox cannot fi nd any TV channels when it scans, you should check the following:
• That the aerial has been connected correctly.
• That the correct country has been chosen under ”
Region Scan
” (see section 3.2.4).
• That there is suffi cient coverage in your area (contact your local digital TV provider).
If there are no subtitles on your programme, you should check the following:
• That the programme is meant to have subtitles. Not all programmes are broadcast with subtitles.
Not all channels subtitle their programmes.
• That the subtitle function has been activated. You can do this by right-clicking on the screen and
selecting ”
subtitle
”. You can then select the subtitle language of your choice.
• That the signal reception is good. When reception is poor the data used for subtitles may not
come through properly.
If the reception quality is poor or stuttering, you should check the following:
• That the signal reception is good.
• That your computer has suffi cient room on its hard disk to store the programmes you are
recording.
• That your computer complies with the system requirements (see the section “
Introduction
”).
