Installing driver over the network

   

•  Before installing, check whether your computer’s OS support the software (see 

"Operating System" on page 7).

•  Download the software from the Samsung website and install 

(

www.samsung.com/sec/support/ 

> find your product > Support or Downloads).

•  The machine that does not support the network interface, it will not be able to use this 

feature (see "Rear view" on page 19).

 

Windows

   

The firewall software might be blocking network communication. Before connecting the 
device to the network, disable the computer’s firewall.

Make sure that the machine is connected to the network and powered on. Also, your 
machine’s IP address should have been set (see "Setting IP address" on page 36).

Download printer driver software from the Samsung website (

www.samsung.com/sec/support/

).

3

Turn on the machine.

4

Unzip the driver package and run the driver installer.

5

Follow the instructions in the installation window.
