Update the software

When Network Settings is complete, your product will check for a new software
version automatically. If new software is available, the product downloads and
installs the new software. When the download is complete, select
Next .

If you want to upgrade later, select Skip . For more information, refer to
Software Upgrade section of this manual (page 90)

This may take some time, depending on your network status.

You can only upgrade software if your product has an active network
connection.

If no new update software is available, a no new updates message appears
on the screen. Select
OK .

After selecting the country in the country menu, some models may proceed
with an additional option to setup the pin number.

Select where your
product signal comes
from.
Let’s find and store channels on your TV. Do you need to search for channels?

Yes, I need to. : All the channels available will be found and stored on your TV.
•
No, I don’t need to. : My set-top box provides all the channels that are
available, so I don't need to search for channels.

Auto Tuning (2):
Select the search
options.
1. Select Air or Cable using your remote. A check appears on your selection.
When done, select Next .
2. If you selected Air , go to 7 - Auto Tuning (3).
3. If you selected the Cable , the Search Mode screen appears. Scans for all
channels with active broadcast stations and stores them in the product.

If you select Quick , you can set up the Network , Network ID , Frequency ,
Modulation , and Symbol Rate manually by the remote control.
Network : Selects the Network ID setting mode among Auto or Manual .
Network ID : When Network is Manual , you can set up Network ID .
Frequency : Displays the frequency for the channel. (Differs in each country)
Modulation : Displays available modulation values.
Symbol Rate : Displays available symbol rates.
4. When done, select Next .

Auto Tuning (3):
Channel memorization
Channel memorization stars. Channel memorization can take up to 45 minutes,
depending on your cable system.

Select Stop at any time to halt the memorization process.
