Using the Battery
Battery Capacity
your phone is equipped with a Lithium Ion (LiIon) battery.
It allows you to recharge your battery before it is fully
drained. The battery provides up to 3.8 hours of continuous
digital talk time (up to one hour in analog) or up to eight
days of continuous digital standby time (up to 15 hours in
analog).
The Empty Battery Icon
Approximately five minutes before the battery charge level
gets too low to operate the phone, the battery sensor will let
you know by blinking an empty battery icon (
),
sounding an audible alert and displaying a warning
message. If you continue to operate the phone without
charging, the phone will turn off automatically (after a
three to five minute delay). If this happens, your call will
end. If you plug into a charging device, you can continue
your call. Be sure to monitor the battery strength icon and
make sure your battery is adequately charged.
