Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology that allows you to connect wirelessly to a
number of Bluetooth phones, such as headsets and hands-free car kits, and Bluetooth-enabled
handhelds, computers, printers, and wireless phones. The Bluetooth communication range is
usually up to approximately 30 feet.
Turning Bluetooth On and Off
Before using Bluetooth, you must turn it on. By default, your phone
’s Bluetooth feature is set to
Off
. Turning Bluetooth on makes your phone “discoverable” by other in-range Bluetooth phones.
To turn Bluetooth on:
1. Press

2. Highlight
On
and press
to enable Bluetooth.
To turn Bluetooth off:

Using the Bluetooth Settings Menu
The Bluetooth menu allows you to set up many of the characteristics of
your phone’s Bluetooth
service. These include:

Entering or changing the name your phone uses for Bluetooth communication.
●
Setting your phone’s visibility (or “discoverability”) for other Bluetooth phones.
●
Displaying your phone’s Bluetooth address.
To access the Bluetooth Settings menu:
1. Press

2. Set your Bluetooth options.
Highlight
My Bluetooth Info
and press
EDIT
(left softkey) to rename your phone for
Bluetooth.
Select
Visibility

Always Visible

Hidden
to set your
Bluetooth visibility.
