[USB Update]
1. Insert a USB storage device which has a new software in its root directory.
2. Select [From USB] and select the [Search] button and press the
OK
button (
) on the
remote control.
3. When new software is detected, the software will be updated.
4. The STB will reboot after the upgrade is completed.
You can find USB-upgradable software at the following web site if available :
www.samsung.com/uk
Software upgrade using the USB port must be performed with a USB flash
memory stick only.
Please be careful not to disconnect the power or remove the USB drive until
upgrade is complete.
Reset to defaults
[Reset to defaults] enables you to restore the product to the factory default.
Please note that once you perform a 'Reset to defaults', all data such as the
channel setting, channel list and all user configured data will be deleted.
To reset to the defaults, follow these steps:
1. Press the
MENU
button (
) and Select [Setting].
2. Select [System] and [Reset to defaults].
3. Enter the PIN code.
- The default PIN code is 0000.
4. Select [Reset to defaults] using the
Navigation
buttons and press the
OK
button (
).
5. When factory reset is completed the product will restart and the [User Settings] window will
appear on the screen.
Power-save mode (additional)
Allows you to turn on/off an additional power-save mode option.
If there is no interaction more than 3 hours between users and the STB in the period
of midnight ~ 5 A.M., the STB with the option turned on goes from live mode to
standby mode.
Please refer to the pages 8~9 for the active standby mode and low-power
standby mode.
