Rear Panel
The port names and functions of the rear panel are described as follows:

CABLE IN
Connect the coaxial cable that transmits the signal from the
Cable Service Provider.
CableCARD Slot
Allows CableCARD access.
1394
Connect an IEEE1394 cable to IEEE1394 (Firewire) supported
HDTV.
E-SATA
Connect to external HDD
SPDIF
Connect an optical cable to send a digital audio signal to an
digital audio device.
Y/Pb/Pr Out (HDTV)
Connect the component output ports to the component input
on your HDTV.
VIDEO/AUDIO OUT
Connect a RCA cable to send an analog Video/Audio signal to
the TV or VCR.
DIGITAL AUDIO OUT
Connect a RCA cable to send digital audio signal to the digital
audio device.
HDMI
Connect a HDMI cable to a HDMI supported HDTV.
LAN
Connect a LAN cable to a LAN port of another STB.
(Optional function)
POWER
Connect the power cord to supply AC power to the STB.
USB
Connect to external USB devices, such as a keyboard or
mouse.
S-VIDEO
Connect a S-Video cable from S-Video to a TV or VCR.
Only Standard Definition (SD) format is supported.

CableCARD™
CableCARD is an STB authorization device, which allows subscribers to watch
digitally encrypted programs.
CableCARD is inserted by the service provider when a digital broadcasting receiver is
installed.
CableCARD USE
Do not remove the CableCARD. CableCARD failure or service disruption may
occur.
