Menu functions
Messages
(Menu 4)
Use the
Messages
menu to send and receive short
text messages. You can also use voicemail and cell
broadcast message features.
To access this menu, press [Centre] in Idle mode and
select
Messages
.
Create message
(Menu 4.1)
Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send or
receive text messages.
1. Enter your message.
Press <
Options
> and select
Insert
to add a text
template, contact number, or bookmark to text.
You can use the copy and paste feature to quickly
and easily enter text.

2. When you have finished, press [Centre].
3. Enter a destination number.
To send the message to more than one recipient,
fill in additional destination.
4. Press [Centre] to send the message.
My messages
(Menu 4.2)
Use this menu to access text messages you have
received, sent, failed to send.
Inbox
(Menu 4.2.1)
This folder stores all of the text messages you have
received.
Viewing a message
The following icons are available on the message list,
depending on the message type:
•
SMS
•
Voicemails
•
CB messages from your service provider
The maximum number of characters allowed in a
short message varies by your service provider. If
your message exceeds the maximum number of
characters, the phone will split the message.
