Auto key lock  

(Menu 4.2.3)

 

This menu allows you to set the phone to 
automatically lock the keys if no key is pressed 
within a given period of time. This feature is useful 
to avoid pressing keys by mistake.

To use this feature, select the length of time for 
which the phone waits before it locks the keypad.

If you do not want to use this feature, select 

Off

.

Note

: You can manually lock the keypad. For further 

details, see page 22. 

Back light  

(Menu 4.2.4)

 

You can select the length of time the backlight is on. 
The backlight turns on when you press a key, when 
you receive a call or message and remains on for 
the specified length of time. 

Service light  

(Menu 4.2.5)

 

This menu allows you to select whether or not the 
service light is used or in which colour it flashes. 

Select one of the seven colour settings. When the 
phone is ready for use, the service light flashes in 
the appropriate colour.

If you do not wish to use the service light, 
select

Off
