Groups
Using Groups you can organize your contacts into lists such as Family,
Friends and Work. You can also assign a unique Caller ID or ringtone
to members of the group.
Note:
Groups stored on your phone accept contacts stored on the phone only. If
your SIM card supports Groups, Groups stored on the SIM card accept
contacts stored on the SIM card only.
Create a New Group
1.
From Idle mode, press
Menu
and select
Contacts
→
Groups
.
2.
Press the
Options
soft key and select the
Add new group
option.
3.
Enter a name for the new group in the
New group
field, press
Options
and select
Save
.
4.
Highlight the newly created group and press
.
5.
Press
Options
and select
Group settings
.
6.
To create a Picture ID for this new caller group, highlight the
Picture
field and press the
key. Select from one of the
following options:
• Wallpapers:
allows you to select a wallpaper image to use as
a Picture ID.
• Downloaded images
: displays a list of downloaded images
from which to select as a Picture ID.
7.
Highlight the
Ringtone
field and press the
key to create a
ringtone for this new caller group. Select from one of the
following options:
