Using the touch screen
Change the
text input
mode
In the text entry screen, tap:
• to switch to Virtual
keypad mode.
• to switch to Handwriting
mode.

To enter a word:
1. Tap the input mode icon to
select the mode you want.
• : English
• : Pinyin
• : S Stroke
• : T Stroke
• : Number
• : Symbol
2. Write a character at a time
on the screen.
3. For handwriting tips, see
page 17.
4. Tap one of the choices to
enter it into text.
Other operations:
• To cancel the input, draw
• To insert a space, draw
These operations are not
available in Pinyin mode.
