Performing a HotSync Operation
To synchronise data, you must connect your PDA
phone and your computer either directly or
indirectly. Direct methods include placing your
PDA phone in the desktop holder attached to
your computer, or using infrared communication.
Indirect methods include using an optional
modem accessory or network HotSync
technology.

Backing up Your Data
Your data in the PDA phone’s memory may be
accidentally erased due to power failure or
storage failure. You can back up your data on
your computer’s hard disk using Palm
TM
Desktop
software, or in the PDA phone’s flash memory or
expansion card by using the
Backup
application.

menu of the Palm

Desktop software, you can save your data in
Phonebook

Date book

To do list

Memo
pad
, and
Camera
on your computer, and then
restore the data when something happens to
