Log duration
You can change the length of time that
communication events are stored in the
logs. After that time, events are
automatically erased to free up memory.
To set a log duration,
1. In Standby mode, press [Menu]
→
Logs
.
2. Press <

.
3. Press <

Change
.
4. Scroll to a duration and press
.

From the
Messages
menu, press

Short
message
to change the following
options:

Service centres
: view all defined
message centres or add a new centre

•
Service centre in use
: set a message
centre to use when sending text
messages
•
Character support
: set a character
encoding type (
Full
for Unicode
reduces your maximum message
length by about one-half)
•
Delivery report
: set to receive a
report when the message has been
delivered
If you select
No log
, no
communication events will be stored
in the log.
