Account settings
: configure up to five e-mail
accounts using different e-mail servers. The
following options are available for each account:
•
Account name
: enter a name for the currently
selected account.
•
User name
: enter a user name.
•
E-mail address
: enter your e-mail address.
•
User ID
: enter your e-mail ID.
•
Password
: enter your e-mail password.
•
SMTP server
: enter the IP address or domain
name of the outgoing e-mail server.
•
SMTP port
: enter the SMTP port number.
•
Protocol type
: select the protocol for the
incoming e-mail server. The remaining options
depend on the protocol type setting.
•
POP3 server/IMAP4 server
: enter the IP
address or domain name of the server that
receives your e-mail.
•
POP3 port/IMAP4 server
: enter the POP3/
IMAP4 port number.
•
APOP login
: (for POP3 protocol) connect to
the server by using the APOP login scheme
when this option is selected.
•
Include attachments
: (for IMAP4 protocol)
select this option to receive attachments with
e-mails.
•
E-mail retrieval limit
: (for IMAP4 protocol)
set the number of headers you will retrieve
from the server.
•
E-mail profile
: select a connection profile to be
used for e-mail services.
Push message
(Menu 5.5.4)
You can change the settings for receiving push
messages from the wireless web server. The following
options are available:
•
Receive
: set how your phone receives push
messages.
•
Service centre
: enter the address of the server
from which you want to receive push messages,
when the
Receive
option is set to
SMS-C

.
You can edit a profile using the
Connection
settings
menu.
