Send message: allows you to send a text or picture message
for the selected Phonebook entry.

Assign speed dial: allows you to assign a speed dial key
number to the selected Phonebook entry.
•
Edit number: allows you to edit the number.
•
Edit Name: allows you to edit the name.
•
Delete entry: allows you to delete the name and number from
Phonebook. You are asked to confirm that you wish to delete
the name and number by pressing the Yes soft key.
•
Copy to SIM: allow you to store the number on your SIM card.

To return to the Idle screen, press the
key.
Finding a Phonebook Entry
You can store phone numbers and their corresponding
names in your SIM card and phone’s memories. They are
physically separate but are used as a single entity, called
Phonebook.
Depending on your particular SIM card, the maximum
number of phone numbers the SIM card can store may
differ.
1.
When the idle screen displays, press the
Ph.Book
soft
key.
2.
Press the
Select
soft key or the
key when
Search
highlights. You are asked to enter a name.
3.
Enter the first few letters of the name.
The Phonebook entries are listed, starting with the first
entry matching your input.
4.
To view the highlighted entry, press the
View
soft key.
