Formatting the memory card
You must format the memory card before you can use it
for the first time.
Select
Options
→
Format mem. card
. When a
confirmation message appears, press the
Yes
soft key.
Once you confirm, formatting starts.
Renaming the memory card
You can change the memory card name. Select
Options
→
Memory card name
. Enter the name you want and
press the
OK
soft key to save the name.
Setting a memory card password
You can set a password to lock your memory card
against unauthorised use.
Notes
:
• Once a password for the memory card has been set, devices
that do not support a feature related to the memory card
password, such as Microsoft Windows, cannot read the card.
You first need to remove the password on the phone.
• The password is stored in your phone and you don’t have to
enter it again while you are using the memory card on the
same phone. When you use the memory card on another
phone, you are asked for the password.
