This function is available only when you are creating a

Enter text using input modes
Mode Function
T9Abc
Press appropriate alphanumeric keys to 1.
enter an entire word.
When the word displays correctly, press

[ 0 ] to insert a space. If the correct word
does not display, select an alternate
word from the list that appears.
Abc
Press an appropriate alphanumeric key
until the character you want appears on
the display.
Numeric
Press an appropriate alphanumeric key to
enter a number.
Symbol
Press an appropriate alphanumeric key to
enter a symbol.

Change the names and icons of the SIM
or UIM cards
In Menu mode, select

Settings
→
SIM cards
management
→
Register card .
Press [

] to select a SIM or UIM card.
Change the name for the SIM or UIM card and scroll

down.
Change the icon for the SIM or UIM card and press

< Save >.
Enter text
You can enter text by pressing keys on the keypad.
Change the text input mode
Press [

] to change case or switch to Number mode.
Press and hold [

] to switch between T9 and ABC modes.

] to switch to Symbol mode.
