: Allows you to receive
information from another Bluetooth device.
To access Bluetooth option settings:
1. Press

Menu

2. Press

Tools.
3. Press

Bluetooth
.
4. Select an option to change:
•
for
Power
: Select
On
or
Off
to enable or disable
Bluetooth support.
•
for
Scan Devices
: If Bluetooth is disabled you will be
prompted to enable it. Once Bluetooth is enabled, select
an existing device and press the right soft key
for
Options
, or select
Add New
to add another device to the
list of trusted devices.
•
for
Discoverable Mode
: Select
Visible for 1min
to
let other devices search for your phone; otherwise, select
Hidden
.
•
for
Device Name
: Type in the name of your phone as
it will appear to other Bluetooth devices. See "Entering
Text" on page 29.
•
for
Device Info
: Displays information about your
phone’s Bluetooth configuration.
Options
After a device is added to your list of Trusted Devices, press the right
soft key
to select from the following options:
•
Add New
: adds another device to your Trusted Devices list.
•
Send Contact
: lets you send a name card from Contacts
to the trusted device.
