1. In Idle mode, press < Menu >

2. Select a text or multimedia message.
Add and find contacts

Add a new contact
1. In Idle mode, enter a phone number and press
[ ].
2. Select New entry .
3. Press < Edit >, and enter the contact’s name and
press [ ].
4. To save the contact to the phone memory, scroll
right and select a number type.
5. Enter contact information.
6. Press [ ] to add the contact to memory.
Find a contact
1. In Idle mode, press < Menu >
→
Contacts
→
Find .
You can also press < Find > in Idle mode.
2. Enter the first few letters of the name you want to
find.
3. Select the contact’s name from the search list.
Number
Press the appropriate alphanumeric key
to enter a number.
Symbol
Press the appropriate alphanumeric key
to select a symbol.
