Set NAM
1.
In standby mode, press the
MENU
(left) soft key (
),
then press
(for
Setup
),
(for
Network
),
and
for
Set NAM
. The following Set NAM options appear in
the display:
•
NAM 1
— Your service contract has one phone line.
•
NAM 2
— Your service contract has two phone lines.

Use the navigation keys and to highlight
NAM 1
or
NAM
2
, the press
to save your selection.
The idle screen appears in the display.
Roam Option
The Roam Option feature enables you to automatically
or manually select the network used when roaming
outside of your home area.

Roam Option
. The following roaming options
appear in the display:
•
Home only
— Roaming is
off
. If your home system is not
available then your call will not be connected, and the no
service icon (
) appears in the display. In some service
areas, an operator may come on-line and ask you how you
would prefer to pay for the call.
•
Automatic-A
— Roaming is
on
. This setting seeks an analog
or digital service automatically. It searches for an alternative
system.
•
Automatic-B
— Roaming is
on
. This is your default setting. It
will always try your calls using the Preferred Roaming List (PRL)
loaded into your phone. If a preferred service is not found, then
this option will attempt to acquire any digital or analog service.
