Changing the Lock Code
The lock code can be changed at any time to any four-digit code
you create.Create a code that is easy to remember. If you change
your lock code and forget the code,take your phone to the nearest
PCS Customer Center for assistance.
To change the lock code,do the following
1. Press .
2. Press to select SECURITY.
3. Enter your current four-digit lock code.
4. Press to select LOCK CODE.
5. Enter your new code.Write down the code immediately
and save it for future reference.
6. Press to save new lock code.
Storing Emergency Phone Numbers
In an emergency,911 and Customer Care can always be dialed,
except when the power is off. Additionally, you may store up to
three personal “emergency numbers.” All emergency numbers can
be dialed even when the phone is locked or restricted but not
when power is off. When an emergency number is dialed and the
phone is in LOCKED or RESTRICTED mode,the stored number
must match exactly, in order to override the lock and restriction
settings.
Entering Emergency Numbers
1. Press .
2. Press to select SECURITY.
3. Enter your four-digit lock code.
4. Press to select EMERGENCY number.
