Formateado del Memory Stick
✤
Para borrar por completo las opciones y las imágenes fijas y de
vídeo del Memory Stick, incluidas las imágenes protegidas, se
pueden emplear las funciones de MEMORY FORMAT (formateado
de memoria).
✤
La función de formateado devuelve el Memory Stick a su estado inicial.
✤
El Memory Stick que se suministra junto con la videocámara ya está
formateado.
Atención
✤
Si ejecuta la función MEMORY FORMAT, todas las
imágenes fijas y de vídeo se borrarán y no se
podrán recuperar.
1. Ajuste la videocámara en la modalidad M.PLAY.
(ver página 29)
2. Pulse el botón MENU.
3. Mueva el SELECTOR MENÚ hasta resaltar MEMORY y
pulse el SELECTOR MENÚ.

Aparecerá el submenú.
4. Seleccione la opción FORMAT de la lista y pulse el
SELECTOR MENÚ.
5. Seleccione FORMAT y pulse de nuevo el MENU
SELECTOR.
6. El mensaje “ALL FILES ARE DELETED! FORMAT
REALLY?” (Se han eliminado todos los archivos, ¿está
seguro de que desea formatear?) aparece en la pantalla.
7. Seleccione el elemento correspondiente mediante el
SELECTOR MENÚ.

NO: regresa al menú anterior
■
YES (sí): inicia el formateado.
8. Pulse el SELECTOR MENÚ.
9. Para salir, pulse el botón MENU.
Nota
■
Si desea formatear el Memory Stick en el PC, utilice la
aplicación “Memory Stick formatter” incluida en el CD
de software; de lo contrario, puede que le aparezca el
mensaje de error “FORMAT ERROR!”.

Formatting the Memory Stick

You can use the MEMORY FORMAT functions to completely delete
all still images/moving pictures and options on the Memory Stick,
including protected still images/moving pictures.
✤
The format function restores the Memory Stick to its initial state.
✤
The Memory Stick supplied with this camcorder has been formatted
already.
Attention
✤
If you execute the MEMORY FORMAT function, all
still images/moving pictures will be erased
completely and erased still images/moving pictures
cannot be recovered.
1. Set the camcorder to M.PLAY mode. (see page 29)
2. Press the MENU button.
3. Move the MENU SELECTOR to highlight MEMORY and
push the MENU SELECTOR.

The sub menu will appear.
4. Select FORMAT from the list and push the MENU
SELECTOR.
5. Select FORMAT and the push the MENU SELECTOR
again.
6. “ALL FILES ARE DELETED! FORMAT REALLY?”
appears on the screen.
7. Using the MENU SELECTOR, select the item.

NO : To return to previous menu
■
YES : To start formatting.
8. Push the MENU SELECTOR.
9. To exit the menu, push the MENU button.
Note
■
If you want to format the Memory Stick on your PC, use
only the “Memory Stick formatter” supplied with the
software CD or you may get the “FORMAT ERROR!” message.
