4.4. Software Upgrade
Insert a USB drive containing the firmware upgrade file, downloaded from “www.samsung.com,” into the TV. Please be
careful not to disconnect the power or remove the USB drive until upgrades are complete. The TV will be turned off
and on automatically after completing the firmware upgrade. When software is upgraded, video and audio settings you
have made will return to their default settings. We advise you to to write down your settings so that you can easily reset
them after the upgrade.
Upgrades will be possible by connecting a USB drive to the USB port.
•
Visit www.samsung.com.
•
Download the latest USB software upgrade exe archive to your computer.
•
Extracts the exe archive to your computer. You should have a single folder with the same name as the exe file.
•
Copy the folder to a USB flash drive
•
Turn on the TV, and then insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the TV.
•
In the TV’s menu, go to Support → Software Update.
•
Select the By USB.
