Using the Manual mode
In the manual mode, you can take pictures by setting
various shot options directly including the shutter speed
and aperture value.

Rotate the mode dial to
M
.

Rotate the dial to adjust the shutter
speed.

Rotate the dial to adjust the aperture value
while press and hold the
[EV]
.

Setting desired shooting option

Align your subject in the frame and half-
press
[Shutter]
to focus.

to take a photo.
Using the Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, or Manual mode

Dial
In case of P (program), S (shutter priority), or A
(aperture priority) mode, the display is shown in red
for each part beyond the range of expousre.
P
mode: The red sign is shown for the shutter speed
and aperture value.
S
mode: The red sign is shown for the shutter speed.
A
mode: The red sign is shown for the aperture value.
The ISO speed cannot be set automatically in the
M
(manual) mode.
