Backing up data

You can back up specified folders or data on your device to an 
external storage device.

1 

Connect the external storage device to the computer.

On the Start screen, click   at the lower-left of the screen and 
select 

Recovery

Select 

Data backup

 and then check the boxes of the folders 

and data you want to back up.

Select an external storage device and then select 

Backup

.

Then, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the 
backup.

Disk copy

The data on the disk is copied to the new disk.

After the data is saved to another drive, open the cover at the 
bottom of the computer and replace the existing drive with 
the new one.
If the cover is difficult to open, contact the Samsung Service 
Center to request assistance. You will be charged for this 
service.
